Grow. Cook. Nourish.
Grow what you eat. Cook what you grow.
FROM SPROUT TO SPOON
Sprout to Spoon is about reconnecting with food at its very beginning: starting with a seed, a pot, or a small patch of soil, and ending with a nourishing meal made from scratch. In this coaching program, I help people start container gardens or backyard gardens that actually fit real life, and then learn how to turn what they grow into simple, satisfying food. Whether it’s herbs in pots, greens from a raised bed, or tomatoes destined for a pot of homemade sauce, this is about slowing down, getting your hands dirty, and building confidence in both the garden and the kitchen.
I’ve been gardening for over seven years, experimenting with everything from indoor greenhouses and hydroponics, to foraging-style plants in the ground and herbs tucked into sunny corners in pots. I cook from scratch and incorporate our freshly-harvested foods into my cookin as much as possible. From tomato sauce, seasonal meals, and plenty of trial-and-error along the way, and I share the recipes that come from that process so others can cook what they grow with confidence. With the help of a DIY drip irrigation system my husband installed, our gardens are nourished by rainwater, just as nature intended. Sprout to Spoon is an invitation to grow and cook food in a way that feels grounded, intuitive, and deeply nourishing, from sprout, all the way to spoon.
