A Burger salad? Say no more!

I have been searching for a go-to turkey burger recipe for what seems like FOREVER. I've tried many recipes, but have never found one that I love. Most ended up being dry, flavorless, and a little bit boring. Finally, I decided to explore ingredient combinations and create my own recipe!
These turkey burger bowls are lean but packed with flavor, perfect for not only summer, but any working or on-the-go lunch, and are absolutely delicious!
PS- this is a lovely rain plan if you aren't able to get outside and grill those burgers for lunch, OR for using up the leftover cooked burgers in the fridge!
Total time: 20 minutes
Yield: 4 burger bowls
Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground turkey
1 Tbsp olive oil
2 tsp fresh sage, chopped
3 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper
4 cups chopped fresh lettuce
1 c shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 c sliced cherry tomatoes
1/2 raw red onion, sliced
1 avocado, cut into chunks
1/2 jalapeno, optional
Sandwich pickles

Directions:
1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add in ground turkey, chopped sage, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Season with salt and pepper. Cook ground turkey until browned, 8-10 minutes. Let cool.

Add chopped lettuce to a bowl.
Add cooked ground turkey to the bowl on top of the lettuce.
Top with pickles, shredded cheese, red onions, jalapenos, avocados, cherry tomatoes, and pickles.
Drizzle with burger sauce. Enjoy! Can be stored for up to 3 days.

Recipe notes:
Burger sauce recipe:
1/4 c Mayo
1 tsp Lemon Juice
2-3 Tbsp Sriracha
Directions: Mix all ingredients together until combined. Taste-test and add additional Sriracha if desired!
I absolutely LOVE using Trader Joe's Pickle Seasoning Blend! Add a tsp to your ground turkey meat while cooking if you love the pickle flavor!
