The Ultimate Customizable Lunch Plate!

This hummus trio plate is a simple way to turn lunch into a colorful, flavorful experience without much effort. By offering three different hummus flavors, you can mix and match bites with an assortment of fresh veggies, crunchy pita, or other dippables, keeping every bite interesting and satisfying.
This lunch idea is perfect for minimal prep days. It’s mostly assembly, no cooking required, and completely customizable to your taste. For a fun twist, add a dessert hummus paired with pretzels for a sweet-and-salty finish, making the plate as playful as it is nourishing.
Yield: 1 serving
Total time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
Choose 3 flavors of hummus. I used garlic hummus, Sabra's roasted red pepper hummus, and a dark chocolate dessert hummus. I also recommend cucumber hummus, beet hummus, or black bean hummus--delicious!
Pairing ideas:
Garlic Hummus:
Fresh veggies like cucumber, carrot sticks, bell peppers, broccoli, and cherry tomatoes
Pita chips, warm pita bread, or toasted baguette slices
Roasted chickpeas or olives for extra texture
Marinated olives with feta cheese
Roasted Red Pepper Hummus:
Sweet veggies like red bell pepper strips, yellow squash, or roasted zucchini
Crackers, flatbreads, or multigrain bread
Mild cheeses like feta or mozzarella cubes
Hard-boiled eggs
Dessert Hummus (like dark chocolate or cookie-inspired flavors):
Pretzels, graham crackers, or vanilla wafers
Fresh fruit like strawberries, apple slices, or banana chunks
Mini cookies or rice cakes for a sweet-and-salty twist
Directions:
Spoon hummus into a bowl or onto the center of a plate
Add your pairings around the hummus.
Enjoy! Can be prepped ahead of time.
