Looking for a fun, kid-approved twist on the classic PB&J? These PB&J Tacos are the lunchbox upgrade you didn’t know you needed! Easy to make and absolutely adorable, they turn a familiar favorite into a playful, taco-style treat that your kids will love unwrapping at school.


With soft, foldable wraps (try tortillas, pancakes, or even rolled sandwich bread), creamy peanut butter, and fruity jam, and topped with fruit, these tacos are a fun way to keep lunchtime exciting while still being nutritious and satisfying. Add some sliced bananas, berries, or a sprinkle of granola for an extra boost — and you’ve got a lunch that’s as balanced as it is fun.


Whether you’re prepping ahead for a busy school week or looking for a quick hands-on activity with your little ones, PB&J Tacos are the perfect mix of convenience, creativity, and classic flavor.

Total time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:


  • 1 soft whole wheat tortilla (or other style wrap)

  • 2 Tbsp peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)

  • 1 Tbsp strawberry jam (or other flavor jam or jelly)

  • 1 Tbsp sliced strawberries (or other fruit)






Directions:


  1. Spread a few Tablespoons of peanut butter on one side of the tortilla.

  2. Spoon and spread 1 Tablespoon strawberry jam in the middle of the tortilla.

  3. Add in sliced fruit and other toppings (I like to add fresh strawberries with the strawberry jam)

  4. Fold tortilla in half like a taco and serve.

  • Mini chocolate chips
