Roll, Slice, and Snack: Perfect for Busy Days!

These Banana Wheels put a fun spin on a classic combo. Bananas, creamy nut butter, and a crunchy topping, all rolled up and sliced into bite-sized, snackable pieces. They’re quick to make and packed with energy, making them a great choice for school lunches or after-school snacks.
With a balance of natural sweetness, protein, and healthy fats, Banana Wheels are a nutritious alternative to sugary snacks, and kids actually want to eat them! Customize them with different spreads (like sunflower seed butter or chocolate hazelnut) and toppings (like granola, crushed pretzels, or shredded coconut) to keep things fun and fresh.
Whether you're packing for picky eaters or looking for new lunchbox inspiration, these playful little bites are sure to be a hit.
Yield: 1 serving
Total time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:
2 Tbsp nut butter or sun butter
1 large banana, peeled
1/4 c Rice Krispies cereal
Directions:
Microwave the nut butter for 5-10 seconds so that it is easier to spread, if needed. Be careful not to melt it too much!
Place the cereal on a flat plate.
Spread the nut butter on the banana, over the outside until covered. I leave an inch or so uncovered on the ends so it's easier to handle without getting your fingers dirty!

Roll the banana in the cereal until coated.

Slice the banana into coins.

Tip: pack these with a fork, they can get a little messy!
Enjoy!
